How Wi-Fi HaLow Is Poised to Transform the IoT Market
Wi-Fi HaLow technology, the sub-1 GHz extension of Wi-Fi, is poised to transform the Internet of Things (IoT), and connected device market, with its adoption expected to surge from several million Wi-Fi HaLow-enabled devices in 2024 to over 100 million by 2029 according to global technology intelligence firm ABI Research

What is Wi-Fi HaLow
Wi-Fi HaLow is Wi-Fi, redesigned for devices at distance. It runs on a lower frequency than other Wi-Fi, which allows it to travel farther and pass through walls, floors, and obstacles, so one connection covers far more ground.
As devices get smarter, with AI built in at the edge, they demand more from the networks that connect them. Wi-Fi HaLow delivers the speed, reliability, and capacity to deploy Edge AI at scale.
Morse Micro's MM8108 sets the benchmark for Wi-Fi HaLow SoCs
When it comes to Wi-Fi HaLow technology, Morse Micro's MM8108 is the leader in every key metric.

Where Wi-Fi HaLow works
Wi-Fi HaLow connects the devices conventional Wi-Fi cannot reach, and that low-power radios cannot serve with enough data. The same technology works across the home, industry, agriculture, cities, and infrastructure for a range of existing a new applications.

Board and executive team
The founders and operators steering Morse Micro with decades of combined experience across RF silicon, wireless standards and high-growth hardware.

Michael is a pioneer of modern Wi-Fi chips with an extensive background in digital chip design and low-power digital architectures. Prior to founding Morse Micro, Michael worked for Imec and Broadcom as wireless chip designer, revolutionizing connectivity of modern mobile phones.
In 2016 he seized an opportunity to change the game with the rise of IoT and the inception of a new Wi-Fi standard, IEEE802.11ah and founded Morse Micro, where he has since raised 200M in funding and commercialized the first record breaking Wi-Fi HaLow SoC that is about to power a new wave of IoT devices.

Andrew (Andy) Terry played a key role in the design of modern Wi-Fi radios in mixed-signal integrated circuits and was recognized with the President’s award at Broadcom for pioneering on-chip signal integrity work on the radios of landmark Wi-Fi chips.
Andy’s radio mastery underpins key functionalities of MM6108, the first record-breaking Wi-Fi HaLow SoC. As Morse Micro’s CTO Andy leads the engineering teams to successfully design world-leading Wi-Fi chips.
