Wi-Fi HaLow® System-on-Chips
Products
Long Range, Low Power, and
Massive Capacity Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi HaLow® (pronounced HEYlow) is the first Wi-Fi standard tailored to meet the Internet of Things (IoT) needs. It’s an open standard wireless network technology operating in the 850-950 MHz range. By operating in the sub-GHz range, this ultra-low-power wireless protocol can connect more IoT devices at much longer distances and much lower power than traditional Wi-Fi. The protocol is ratified by the IEEE 802.11ah task group and dubbed Wi-Fi HaLow® by the Wi-Fi Alliance.
Our SoCs
MM6108
The MM6108 SoC is a single-chip solution, including Radio, PHY, and MAC functions designed in accordance with the IEEE 802.11ah standard. Supporting long-range data rates up to 32.5 Mbps, this SoC provides operation in the sub-1 GHz range (license-exempt bands worldwide).
MM8108
The MM8108 SoC is a highly integrated, ultra-low power, single-chip Wi-Fi HaLow® compliant connectivity solution. It supports long-range data rates up to 43.33 Mbps using 256-QAM modulation at 8 MHz bandwidth over the air in the sub-1 GHz (license-exempt bands worldwide).
